In 2024, a couple of major Methane reduction regulatory updates were released. In the United States, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) unveiled a series of proposed changes to the Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) practices, including a protocol for using optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras (appendix K).  In addition, the European Union implemented some requirements and new rules as well. Although both have the same objective, there are some differences.

In this webinar, we explain these rules in simpler terms. What they mean in real life, and most importantly how to know that the technology you will be using complies with the new regulatory changes.
