Purpose of the Application

The Opgal Connect Mobile Application enables remote live video streaming, monitoring, and operation of EyeCGas cameras for users in the oil and gas industry.

Information Collected

The Application does not collect personal identification information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, user account information, or the location of the user’s mobile device.

During operation, the Application may collect and transmit the following categories of information:

Operational Data

To enable camera operation and live video streaming, the Application may transmit data received from the connected EyeCGas camera, including:

• Camera serial number
• Camera status information
• GPS location reported by the connected EyeCGas camera
• Live video stream
• Session-related connection information required to establish and maintain a streaming session

The Application does not collect, track, or transmit the location of the user’s mobile device. Any location information transmitted through the Application originates solely from the connected EyeCGas camera.

Technical and Diagnostic Data

To maintain application reliability and improve performance, the Application may automatically collect non-personally identifiable technical information, including:

• Crash logs
• Error reports
• Device model
• Operating system version
• Application version
• Application performance metrics
• Technical identifiers generated by Firebase services (including Firebase Installation IDs or similar service identifiers)

This information is collected solely for diagnostics, troubleshooting, crash analysis, and application stability monitoring.

Use of Information

Information collected by the Application is used solely for the following purposes:

• Enabling remote camera operation
• Providing secure live video streaming
• Connecting to EyeCGas camera Wi-Fi networks
• Maintaining application functionality
• Troubleshooting technical issues
• Monitoring application stability and reliability
• Improving application performance

Information is not sold, rented, profiled, or used for advertising or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes the following third-party services:

Vonage Video API

Vonage Video API is used to provide live video streaming functionality.

Operational Data required for establishing and maintaining video sessions may be transmitted through Vonage infrastructure. Live video streams are transmitted only to recipients explicitly selected by the user.

Google Firebase Crashlytics

Google Firebase Crashlytics is used exclusively for:

• Crash reporting
• Error monitoring
• Diagnostics
• Application stability analysis

Firebase Crashlytics may collect anonymized technical and diagnostic information, including crash logs, device information, application performance data, and technical service identifiers.

Firebase Crashlytics does not access, process, analyze, or store live video streams, camera content, camera GPS data, or other operational data transmitted from the EyeCGas camera.

Data Retention

Operational Data

Opgal does not store or retain Operational Data, including:

• Live video streams
• Camera serial numbers
• Camera status information
• Camera-reported GPS location

Operational Data is used only for the duration of an active session and is not retained after the session ends, except as required for temporary transmission and delivery of the service.

Technical and Diagnostic Data

Technical and Diagnostic Data collected through Firebase Crashlytics may be retained by Google in accordance with Google’s applicable policies and retention schedules for diagnostic and stability-monitoring purposes.

Data Sharing

Information collected by the Application is shared only with:

• Recipients explicitly selected by the user during live streaming sessions
• Service providers necessary for application functionality, including Vonage Video API and Google Firebase Crashlytics

No information is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing organizations.

Security

Opgal implements reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information transmitted through the Application.

Security measures include:

• Encrypted video transmission
• Unique streaming session links
• Session-specific access controls
• Industry-standard network security practices

While no transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, Opgal takes appropriate measures to protect transmitted information.

User Rights

Because the Application does not collect or maintain personal identification information, rights relating to access, correction, portability, or deletion of personal data are generally not applicable.

Users may discontinue use of the Application at any time.

Permissions

The Application may request access to the following device features solely for operational purposes:

• Camera
• Microphone
• Local Storage
• Network Connectivity
• Nearby Wi-Fi Devices (where supported by the operating system)
• Location Permission (Android only, where required by the operating system to discover or connect to Wi-Fi networks)

Location permission, when requested by Android, is used exclusively to enable discovery and connection to EyeCGas camera Wi-Fi networks through Android networking APIs such as WifiNetworkSpecifier.

The Application does not access, collect, store, track, or transmit the geographic location of the user’s mobile device.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Advertising and Monetization

The Application:

• Does not display advertisements
• Does not use advertising identifiers for marketing purposes
• Does not contain in-app purchases
• Does not offer subscription services

International Users

Information transmitted through the Application may be processed by third-party service providers located in different jurisdictions as necessary to provide the services described in this Privacy Policy.

Policy Updates

Opgal may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Updated versions will be published within the Application, on the company website, or through other appropriate notification mechanisms. Continued use of the Application following publication of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
