Therm-App MD Pro Mobile Thermal Imaging Device for Elevated Body Temperature Measurement

In 2003, OPGAL was first in the market to employ thermal imaging cameras to measure the skin temperature of airline passengers passing through SARS-affected regions. People exhibiting elevated skin temperatures, which may indicate a fever, could then be isolated for further evaluation to determine the cause. Similar quarantine procedures may help minimize the spread of the Corona Virus outbreak.

This product is not a diagnostic tool. It cannot detect if an individual is sick – only if he or she has elevated body temperature. A suspected individual should be checked with a medically approved measurement method – such as a thermometer.
