Everest EVS is Opgal’s fourth generation enhanced vision system. It is an innovative, uncooled, wide-spectrum infrared camera that combines SWIR and LWIR spectrum sensors to provide commercial and business aircraft pilots with clear video images of the runway and surrounding environment. Everest EVS delivers crisp images of incandescent and LED runway lighting, day or night, in poor lighting, or harsh weather conditions. Everest EVS significantly improves flight safety and situational awareness, in the air, as well as on active taxiways and runways.
